But based on an insider report, the trio may be launched in India on June 13. The company has seemingly sealed the launch date and will soon start sending 'Save the date' teasers to media houses. The official invitation for now is decided to be sent out on/around June 8. That said, there's no news as to when the handsets will be hitting the shelves. The company's 're-imagined' Nokia 3310 feature phone has already been launched in India and is available at Rs 3,310. All four handsets were introduced at MWC 2017 conference earlier this year. The most powerful of Nokia's three upcoming smartphones is the Nokia 6. Nokia 3310 launched in its homeland

: Nokia relaunched its simple but classic 3310 phone in its home market of Finland on Wednesday, hoping a wave of nostalgia may boost the brand as it expands into newer smartphones.
Once the world's dominant phonemaker, Nokia Oyj sold its handset operations to Microsoft in 2014,leaving it to focus on telecoms network equipment.
But its brand has gone back on the mobile market across much of Europe and India thanks to a licensing deal with HMD Global,a new company led by former Nokia executives and backed by Chinese electronics giant Foxconn.
HMD has sole use of the Nokia brand on all phones and tablets for the next decade, and it will pay royalties to NokiaOyj.
Nokia 3310, a basic talk and text phone, was the world's most popular device in 2000 and the first handset owned by many smartphone users of today.

8 features of the 'new' Nokia 3310

At this year’s Mobile World Congress technology conference, Nokia made its proper return to the smartphone arena. In collaboration with HMD Global, the company launched a handful of Android-based smartphones. But what actually got the whole technology world talking was the launch of a ‘reimagined’ version of arguably the company’s most iconic mobile handset ever – the legendary Nokia 3310. Even though it’s still a basic feature phone, the refreshed Nokia 3310 comes with quite a few extra features and enhancements over its predecessor, which came out in 2000. Want to know more? Here are 8 exciting features of the ‘new’ Nokia 3310....READ MORE
The updated version, in bright red or yellow or more modest blue or grey and featuring the classic Snake game, sells for 49 euros ($52).
HMD hopes that its 22 hours of talk time and up to one month of standby time will heighten its appeal for customers looking for a break from smartphone overload or a reliable device for lively nights out.
Initial demand appears to be strong.
"The first delivery was fully pre-ordered and we'll probably need to wait couple of weeks before we have 3310 widely available in our stores," said Jan Virkki, head of consumer products at Finland's largest telecom operator Elisa.
The nostalgic appeal was clear.
"It looks like the brick, like the ones we had when we were kids," said student Oona Patomaki, walking by Elisa's store in downtown Helsinki.
While operators and retailers in other countries - including Britain's Carphone Warehouse - have echoed Elisa's message, the precise level of consumer appetite is difficult to estimate as HMD did not give any sales figures.
"In the UK, initial sales have been very strong, and that's a pretty good achievement because this is a very basic phone, it doesn't even have Wi-Fi on it," said Ben Wood, analyst at CCS Insight.
Three new Nokia smartphones running on Google's Android platform are due to go on sale in upcoming weeks and the hope is that the 3310 will whet appetites.
"The mid-range Android smartphone space is probably the toughest of the mobile phone markets in existence... This is their challenge, and HMD needs to quickly move the market forward," said Wood.
"New 3310s, at least, mean that consumers are now aware that Nokia is back."

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus review: Beauty with brains

Let's face it. Samsung has been in the eye of the storm. Yes, with reason. Naysayers wondered if they could ever recover from the massive debacle last year. Loyalists, hoped they would do better; and tech enthusiasts, they were watching their every move. The spotlight was on their new launch, Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The good news is that the company has moved past the fiasco and is on the right track. To put things in perspective—if Apple iPhone 7 Plus was a good looking phone, the new Samsung S8 Plus is a stunner that is ready to impress both the gadget veteran and the gizmo newbie. We reviewed the larger-than-life smartphone and this is what we could make of it.
Design The hard work put in by designers at Samsung is quite evident. Their brilliance can be seen in the extremely beautiful design of the Samsung S8 Plus . Right out of the box, the large 6.2-inch curved infinity display greets you with vibrant colours. It supports 2,960 X 1,440 pixels; however, the default resolution is slightly more than Full HD. The front and rear is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 (fully) for a seamless experience and adds to the show.
In fact, more than 90% of the phone's exterior is glass, only the sides have a metal frame, which has the volume, Bixby and power buttons. The top part has dual SIM/storage tray, while the bottom has single loud speaker grille, USB type C charging port and a 3.5 mm Jack. At 8mm thickness this is one of the slimmest phones currently available in the market with an audio jack. The front side also has the Iris sensor (which works at blitzkrieg speeds) along with an 8MP AF camera. The onscreen home key, back and currently opened apps button get camouflaged at the bottom. When the middle part of the screen at the bottom is hard pressed for the home key there is a haptic feedback, too. So, the user always knows he or she is pressing the right button. Turn it around and one finds the 12 MP AF camera with single colour LED flash on one side and a fingerprint sensor on the other. It opens the phone very quickly, but the placement of this sensor could have been better. Samsung branding is under it, which gets a little lost on the black shell. Performance This is what we love about flagships, the firms try to give as many features as possible in a device. Yes, this increases the price, but in the end (more often than not) it is value for money. So far, the Samsung S8 Plus seemed to be on the path to glory, but many and the mightiest have fallen face-down on our test bench, here's how this one fared. First, let's start with the rundown of the specifications. The Samsung S8 is available in three colours in India—blue, gold and black. Inside, it has 4 GB RAM, 64 GB memory (expandable by 256 GB via a microSD card) backed by Exynos 8895 chip that has an octa-core CPU (4 cores x 2.3 GHz plus 4 cores x 1.7 GHz) and Mali G71 graphics unit. Unfortunately, only the US models have Qualcomm chipsets. Together they are not the best available out there, but do make a premium device. We would have appreciated if the Qualcomm chipset would have been available for the Indian users as well.

That said, however, the Samsung S8 Plus does not compromise on power. We ran the Antutu Benchmark, where it scored 1,55,264 points and on Geekbench it scored 2,009 points (single core), 6,351 points (multi core) and 8,509 points in the computing test. All of them did not put it on the top of the list, but amongst the top four players in the market (behind the iPhone 7 Plus and One plus 3T). Switching gears, let's talk about the brilliant display. Here is where all the magic happens. The infinity display (as Samsung calls it) on the Samsung S8 Plus is breath taking. The colours are very vib
