Nokia is all set to make a comeback in the smartphone segment. The company is rumoured to launch two-three devices at the next year's Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017), scheduled to be held in February.
One of these is said to be Nokia D1c. There are conflicting reports about the device being a tablet or a smartphone. While some rumours claim it to be a tablet, others hint at the device being a smartphone.
Recent images leaked on Chinese micro-blogging website Weibo support the smartphone theory. As per the leaked images, Nokia D1c smartphone will come in Gold, While and Black colour variants.
On specifications front, the smartphone is rumoured to have rounded metal edges, 3.5mm audio jack, USB port and microphone at the bottom. Some reports also claim that the smartphone will sport a finger-print sensor.
Earlier this month, Nokia's smartphone ambitions came out in open after slides from the company's investor-focused event Capital Market 2016 made its way to the internet. The slides reportedly hint at the company's return to the smartphone market. One slide mentions 'Nokia brand's return to smartphones' under the plans for the year 2017.
